Photos Just over a year ago I had a choice. Walk away from music completely so I’d never be reminded of what happened back then, or refuse to give up and turn something damaging into something healing. I chose music. As medicine. As a way to fight back, tell my truth and move forward. Lightlines became a safe space. A place to give voice to things I’d kept quiet for too long. A world I can return to when things get heavy. Friday reminded me why this matters. The room. The noise. The chaos. Friends, family and faces from years gone by showing up and feeling it with us.
