Videos 10/10 EVERYTHING! Trek Slovenia 2024 was a wellness trek to raise money for Grief Encounter. This wasn’t like your usual fitness endurance challenge, rather a well-being reset and it was everything we all needed. The fresh air, grounding nature and good people were uplifting for the soul. Grief isn’t linear and looks different for everyone, but having specialist bereavement support, in a safe environment to be open, is vital for healing after the death of someone close. This experience has given me exactly that and a huge amount of appreciation and gratitude for life, which is difficult to navigate through bereavement. This was a journey of hope. Thank you to everybody who donated! Your money will enable grief encounter to work closely with bereaved kids, young people and their families to offer a way through the fear, anxiety and isolation often caused by grief.
