Videos I’ve been using the SM7B for years, so I was very curious to try the new MV7i 👀 It’s basically a microphone and audio interface rolled into one. You can record straight into your phone, plug instruments directly into it, and take your setup pretty much anywhere. As someone who’s constantly recording ideas, demos, vocals and content, this feels like it’s been built for creators like me. Videos Loss. Feeling out of place. Getting caught up in things you know aren’t good for you. Trying to figure yourself out while everything feels a bit unclear. It’s a lot of frustration, if I’m honest. And I think that’s why they sound the way they do. They’ve been release valves more than anything, just somewhere to get everything out instead of holding it in. That’s where that heavier, raw energy comes from. It wasn’t planned… it’s just where I was at. Lightlines has kind of documented that whole process without me even realising it at the time.
